It is time once again for the Warren County Conservation District to select a local individual to be honored for their outstanding efforts in conservation education. Those who know of a teacher or of a person from organizations such as 4-H, the Boy Scouts, or other education-centered association who qualify for the title of, Environmental Educator of the Year, whether it is their outstanding teaching abilities, their endless energy towards educating our local community, or their creativity to begin new environmentally- conscious programs with their groups, is invited to nominate them. The chosen individual will be awarded a plaque at the annual dinner on Feb 20.
To nominate someone, send the person's full name, their occupation and a one page or less description of their contributions to the community of Warren County, involving environmental and or conservation education. Nominations can be made via letters addressed to the Warren County Conservation District, 210 North Drive, Suite E, Warren, PA 16365, or via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org (Heather Wilcox, District Manager).
