Sheffield lost its sixth straight on Wednesday, 47-34, to visiting Brockway at Sheffield High School.
"It was just an ugly game," said Sheffield coach Jeff Labesky, whose Lady Wolverines started the game on an 8-0 run and led 20-19 at halftime. "We let them hang around."
But the strategy to go up-tempo didn't work in the physical contest, with 50 combined free throws.
Two of Brockway's four wins are vs. Sheffield, while the Wolverines are 6-13 with two games remaining. The last home game is Tuesday against Curwensville.
