Police have arrested a suspect in the Sunday, Jan. 20, robbery of the Town and Country Store in Sugar Grove.
Warren-based state police said Dudley Eugene Morningstar, 27, of Pleasant Street, Sugar Grove, was arrested Tuesday morning at his residence and charged with three counts of felony robbery and one count of misdemeanor theft.
According to police, Morningstar was taken into custody after an investigation into the 8:45 p.m. robbery of the Town and Country Store in which a man wearing a full-face camouflage mask and "pretending to have a gun in his pocket" demanded money.
The cashier gave the man $947.32 in cash from the register, police said. The man then left the scene in a truck.
Morningstar was arraigned before District Justice Laura Bauer and taken to Warren County Jail after failing to post $100,000 bond.
