FAIRVIEW - Warren Area High School's competitive cheerleading team finished fourth overall, out of eight teams, and second in the five-team Small Varsity division at the inaugural District 10 competition cheerleading championships Saturday at Fairview High School.
The top seven teams automatically qualify for the PIAA championships scheduled for Saturday, February 2, in Hershey.
The top seven teams on Saturday included: Fairview, Harbor Creek, Mercyhurst Prep, Warren, McDowell, Wilmington and Oil City. McDowell was the Large Varsity D10 champ, Harbor Creek Medium Varsity and Fairview Small Varsity - ahead of Warren
