Warren's junior varsity girls basketball team lost to Bradford, 37-21, on Saturday in the consolation game of the Olean Jayvee Tournament to fall to 7-5 overall.

Free throw winners
The Warren Council of the Knights of Columbus held its local free throw competition at the YMCA on Sunday. The winners will compete at the district level on Feb. 10 at the Warren County YMCA. J.V. wrestling
Several Warren Area High School wrestlers competed in the Southwestern J.V. Tournament on Saturday at Southwestern High School. Place winners for the Dragons were: Sonny Leeper, second (126); Bailey Pratt, second (132); Stephen Crone, second (195), and; Gabe Irvine, third (138).
College news
Warren Area High School graduate and California University of Pennsylvania junior Kelsey Nuhfer won a pair of individual events on Saturday during a pair of dual meet victories over Lake Erie and West Virginia Wesleyan at Hamer Hall in California, Pa. She posted a time of 24.93 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle to win the event by over six-tenths of a second. In the 100 butterfly, Nuhfer captured the victory after touching the wall in 1:02.00.
