Trail group to meet tonight
The Allegheny National Forest Chapter of the North Country National Scenic Trail will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at the Lion's Den in Sheffield to make plans for 2013. Plans include a new hiker shelter near Route 6, setting the location of the National Trails Day on June 1, involvement in the national conference that will be held at Slippery Rock University in August, and plans for the major event, the A-100 Challenge. The ANF section of the NCT is getting national recognition. The public is invited. Call Keith Klos at 484-7420 for more information.
