Jr. high hoops
After hitting a three-game skid, the Beaty eighth-grade boys basketball team improved its regular season record to 2-3 with a 40-32 victory over Corry. The Dragons were led by a strong inside game for their forwards, Tristan Davis scoring 12 and Noah Becker leading all scorers with 16. Tyler Gillotti did most the work getting the ball to the big guys by weaving his way through a tough Corry press. Braiden Blair helped out in the scoring column, adding eight points, and Reed Swanson and Derrick Nowacki pitched in a bucket each.
