The Chief Cornplanter Council Boy Scouts of America is inviting all Eagle Scouts in Warren County to attend their annual Eagle Scout Recognition Dinner hosted by Warren Elks Lodge #223.
Whether you received your Eagle award in this council or some other council, and regardless of when you earned it, all Eagles are welcome to attend.
This is the Council's 100th anniversary year, and they're hoping to get over 100 Eagle Scouts to attend.
This year's Eagle Scout banquet will be held Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Elks Lodge in Warren. The gathering will start at 6 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.
If you are an Eagle Scout from the Chief Cornplanter Council there is no charge to attend the banquet. For Eagles from another council, there is still no charge but you are asked to bring proof of your Eagle Scout rank. Family members of Eagle Scouts are just $10 to attend. Scout uniform is preferred but not necessary.
The council asks that you preregister for the event so that they know how many people to expect. To register, call the Chief Cornplanter Council office before Jan. 25 at 723-6700. Seating is limited to the first 130 people who preregister. No walk-ins will be accepted.
Come help America's Oldest Scout Council celebrate this milestone achievement.
