Eisenhower improves its record to 5-4 with an easy victory over Harbor Creek, 48-15, on Friday night at Eisenhower High School.
The Knights jumped out to an early lead and the Huskies were never able to recover. Graham Johnson (132 pounds) and Robbie Wilston (160) each earned pins for Eisenhower. Johnson's pin was his first varsity win, and it came after trailing 7-0 earlier in the match, and Wilston is wrestling above his normal weight class.
Richard Knisley (138) earned a victory by a 16-6 major decision while Louie Head (152) won by a 10-6 decision. Jeb Fedorchuk (126) added a victory by technical fall for Eisenhower.

It’s all in the finish
Graham Johnson bounces up to his feet after pinning his Harbor Creek opponent for his first varsity win. Down 7-0, Johnson reversed his opponent and pinned him to finish the last match of the night. Eisenhower won 48-15, improving its record to 5-4.
The match was completed in under an hour, thanks in part to five total forfeits - four of which went in Eisenhower's favor.
"We knew going in that they've been giving up six to seven forfeits, so it's a hard match to get excited about," Eisenhower coach Kiel Woodburn said. "The whole team is working hard, but it's not gonna get any easier. We've got three tough tournaments coming up."
Eisenhower will get back on the mat on Wednesday when the Knights travel to Seneca.

Union City 54, Youngsville 24
A few strong individual performances weren't enough for the Eagles Friday night, as they dropped a 54-24 dual contest to an experienced Union City squad at Youngsville High School.
"We had some good matches. I thought we wrestled harder tonight and with more intensity than we have in the past," said Youngsville coach Scott Ishman. "We needed pins. They got them and we didn't."
Union City started off the match with a win at 106 and a forfeit win at 113. Chester Ciukaj got the Eagles on the board with a pin at 120, and Aaron Hoover won a hard-fought, 7-4, decision over Union City's Russell Adams at 132.
Another forfeit and three consecutive pins all but secured the win for the Bears, but Youngsville wasn't about to go quietly. Jeremy Lyon picked up a win by disqualification at 170 and Stone Sivak narrowly missed a major decision with a 10-3 victory over Cody Thomas at 182.
Following a forfeit at 195, Jaykup Durlin, who has only lost one match in duals this season, continued his winning ways with a convincing pin of Storm McDonald in just 47 seconds before the Bears wrapped up the night with a pin at 285.
Youngsville won't have to wait long to get back in the swing of things, as head to Ripley, N.Y. for a tournament Saturday afternoon.
