Eaton scores 1,000th career point in Warren's tourney win

SENECA - Warren Area High School senior Jaimie Eaton became the seventh girls basketball player from Warren Area High School to eclipse the 1,000 point career scoring mark in Warren's 68-40 win over Westinghouse (Pa.) on Thursday in the first round of the Cranberry Tournament at Cranberry High School.

Eaton finished the game with 21 points, and has 1,0003 for her career, as Warren advances to play in Friday's championship final vs. the winner of Thursday night's Cranberry vs. Erie East game.

Julie McChesney holds the school record for girls scoring at 1,436 points (1992).
