Stuart Bloom, 82, of Warren, Pa., died Wednesday morning, December 26, 2012 at Warren Manor Nursing Home.
He was born July 29, 1930 in Warren, Pa. to Elmer and Edith Lundahl Bloom. He has resided in Warren his entire life and was a 1948 graduate of Warren High School. He had served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed with the former Deluxe Metal as a Foreman in the Quality Control Dept. and retired after many years employment. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his nephews Ronald A. Bloom and his wife, Cheryl of Russell, Pa., Richard Bloom of Erie, Pa., David Bloom of Alberta, Pa. Robert Bloom of Merritt Island, Fla., Jerry Bloom and his wife, Althea of Connecticut; nieces Nancy Davis of Warren, Pa., Carole Greenhaur and husband, John of Oregon, Julie McCoy of Jamestown, N.Y.; 2 Sistersinlaw, Cecelia Riley of Warren, Pa., Nancy Zabroski of Jamestown, N.Y.; and 1 Brotherinlaw, Vince Toscano of Las Vegas, Nevada.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marselline G. Toscano Bloom whom he married August 12, 1950 in Corry, Pa. who died December 26, 2009; Brothers Bernard, Robert, Elmer, Jr., Richard and sister, Miriam Vaughan.
A funeral and committal service will be conducted Monday, December 31, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, Pa. with Rev. Beth Costlow, Pastor, officiating. Full military honors will be conducted at the funeral home by members of the Clarendon/Sheffield V.F.W. Funeral Detail.
