Pennsylvania State Police, EmergyCare and members of the Russell Volunteer Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident involving a semi-tractor trailer and an SUV Thursday afternoon. The accident shut down a section of Route 62 causing traffic to be re-routed down Main Street through Russell. Only minor injuries were reported.
