Warren

Warrant issued. City of Warren police report issuing a warrant for the arrest of Robert Guiffre, 50, Warren, on charges of forgery and theft by deception. Guiffre allegedly forged checks totaling $592.40 from his place of employment.

Clarendon Boro.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police report investigating an incident of criminal mischief which occurred between 12:01 and 7 a.m. on Dec. 20, at 100 South Main Street. According to police, unknown actor(s) kicked the front door of the Clarendon Service Center and caused damage to the lock. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Warren-based state police.

Sugar Grove Boro.

Retail Theft. Warren-based state police reported that at 8:03 a.m. on Dec. 16 at Kwik Fill, an unknown male pumped $53.03 worth of gasoline into a maroon Jeep Grand Cherokee with gray trim, and left without paying. A NY registration was obtained and the investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact Warren-based state police or PA Crime Stoppers.

Eldred Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police reported that at 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 22, a crash occurred at Route 27, Box 10151, when a known male was traveling west on Route 27 and lost control on the snow-covered roadway. The vehicle then slid off the westbound berm and struck a utility pole, shearing it. After initial impact, the vehicle spun clockwise, then came to a final rest along the westbound berm. The driver was transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment of moderate injury. He was cited with Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

Pittsfield Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police reported that at 7 p.m. on Dec. 21, a crash occurred on Route 27 between Schell Rd. and Hill Rd., when Kyle G. Salva, 33, Pittsfield, driving a 1997 Toyota T100, was traveling west on 27 and lost control on the snow-covered roadway, sliding across the eastbound lane and off the eastbound berm. The left front of the vehicle made initial impact with the ditch, then rolled onto its driver's side, coming to a final rest in the ditch facing west. There was no injury to the driver.
