STANLEY BIMBER

Stanley William Bimber, 86, of 496 Peterson Road, Russell, (Scandia), PA, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2012 at Golden Living Kinzua Valley.

Stanley was born October 14, 1926 in Warren, PA, the son of the late Archie M. and Delcie Korb Bimber. A lifelong area resident, Stan graduated as Valedictorian from Warren High School. He was employed by National Fuel Company as a meter repair technician. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the WWII. Stan enjoyed his home in Scandia, gardening, and his family.

He is survived by four sons, Denny Bimber and his wife Nancy, Scandia, PA, Gregg Bimber and his wife Pam, Pittsfield, PA, Rodney Bimber and his wife Ronda, Franklin, PA, Tim Bimber and his wife Betty Jo, Scandia, PA; a daughter, Cinda Tarr and her husband John, North Warren, PA; three step sons, Jim Kramer and his wife Mary, Warren, PA, Bill Kramer and his wife Twila, Warren, PA, Ron Kramer and his wife Stacy, Warren, PA; a stepdaughter Carole Mahan, Warren, PA; three sisters, Dorothy Farrell, Violet Kavinski, and Marilyn Sampson and her husband Ted, all of Warren; one brother, Russ Bimber and his wife Connie, Oberlin, OH; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Wanda Jean Wineriter Bimber, his second wife, Elaine Archbold Bimber, and a brother, John Bimber.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Warren County, 2 Crescent Park, Warren, Pa., 16365, or the Scandia Volunteer Fire Department, Russell, PA.
