Brokenstraw Twp.

Identity theft. Warren-based state police reported that at 5 p.m. on Dec. 18, a known female reported to Warren-based state police that an unauthorized person was using her Social Security number. The investigation continues.

Glade Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that between 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 13 and 9 a.m. on Dec. 15 at the Holly Apts., someone put sugar in the gas tank of a vehicle belonging to James Neizmik, Warren. Anyone with information is asked to call state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that at 8 a.m. on Dec. 20 at Warren Elementary, a known 12-year-old male shoved a known 9-year-old male to the ground. The investigation continues.

Sheffield Twp.

Public drunkenness. Warren-based state police reported that at 6:39 p.m. on Dec. 14 behind Uni-Mart, Frank Eugene Mertz, Jr., 43, Sheffield, was found publicly intoxicated on a park bench. He was treated and released by EMS staff and charges were filed at District Justice Glenn Carlson's office.
