AUSTIN - The Sheffield Wolverines improved their record to 2-3 on the year with a 50-31 non-league win over Austin Monday night.
The Wolverines were led offensively by Dylan McNeal and Tyler Fitzgerald, who each scored 12 points each in the win. Fellow seniors Shequan Wright, Brendan Winslow, and Dylan Reynolds followed with 10, eight, and six points, respectively.
Sheffield will look to stay in the win column Wednesday when it travels to Otto-Eldred for a District 9 showdown with the Terrors.
The Wolverines were also winners in the junior varsity game, 48-23.
