Julie Rasimovicz, 54, of 109 Main Street, Tidioute, Pa., passed peacefully into the next life Saturday evening, December 15, 2012.
She was born in Warren, Pa. on September 18, 1958; a daughter of Phyllis Colosimo Rasimovicz and the late Stanley Rasimovicz. She was raised in Tidioute and graduated from Tidioute High School in 1976. She lived most of her adult life in and around the Indianapolis area. She attended college and worked various jobs during that time. She took early retirement due to health issues from her career of Counseling adolescents and young adults at the Atterbury Correctional Facility in Indianapolis. At that time, she returned to Tidioute and her original homestead.
Julie is survived by her mother, her daughter, Phylicia Byrd, Franklin, Indiana, her fiancee, George E. Drukenbrod, Jr. of Tidioute, two sisters, Carol McGraw, Warren, Pa. and Sharon Rasimovicz, Jamestown, NY, one niece, one nephew, one greatnephew, her lifelong best friend, Shelley Kagle, and her loving dog and companion, Zoey.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at Saint Johns Roman Catholic Church, Tidioute, at a day and time to be announced by the James M. Higgins Funeral Home of Tidioute.
