ARLYENE MENARD

Arlyene M. Menard, of Elm Street, Warren, Pa., passed away on Sunday morning, December 16, 2012 at the Warren General Hospital.

Arlyene was born January 27, 1925, in Warren, the daughter of the late Leonard and Leafy Rudolph McLaughlin. She was a lifelong resident Warren and a 1942 graduate of Warren High School. She also graduated the Warren Conservatory of Music in 1942. She was employed as a switchboard operator at Bell Telephone Company, and the Warren State Hospital, retiring in 1985. Arlyene enjoyed reading, her family, and especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Karen Fors and her husband, Robert, Youngsville, Pa.; a son, Michael Menard, and his wife, Cindy, Coudersport, Pa.; six grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in 1980 by her husband, James C. Menard; a daughter, Linda Menard Cook; and a grandson, John Cook.

Friends will be received at the Peterson Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Tuesday, December 18, for one hour prior to a funeral service to be held there at 12:00 p.m., with Rev. Nancy Schwanke, officiating.

Burial will be in the Thompson Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Warren Library Association, 205 Market St., Warren, Pa. 16365.
