Warren

Simple Assault. City of Warren Police report investigating an incident of simple assault which occurred on Dec. 6 at the Warren County Jail. According to police, Karly Sorensen, 27, Warren, was charged with simple assault after officers were dispatched for a fight between two inmates. Chasity Kelly, 33, Warren, was cited with harassment as a result of the incident.

Charged. City of Warren Police report charging Nathan Southwick, 18, Warren, with urglary, criminal trespass and theft by unlawful taking as a result of an incident on Nov. 01. Southwick was arraigned in front of District Justice Glenn Carlson and placed in the Warren County Jail in lieu of 25,000 bail.

Disorderly Conduct. City of Warren Police Dept. report investigating an incident of disorderly conduct which occurred on Dec. 13. According to polic, John Johnson, 49, Warren, and Jason Labarr, 34, Warren, were both cited for disorderly conduct after officers were dispatched to a local establishment for a reported fight.

Mead Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police report investigating a crash that occurred at 7:55 p.m. on Dec. 8, .3 miles east of SR 59 on Rt. 6. According to police, Jonathan I. Morse, 31, Warren, was traveling at a high rate of speed in a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu, and struck the rear of a 2007 Chevrolet 1500, driven by Timothy A. Swift, 56, Warren, in front of the Budget Lodge. The force of impact made Swift leave the roadway and strike Howe's True Value Home Store on the westbound berm of SR6. Swift came to a rest in the eastbound lane of SR6 facing west. Morse was not wearing his seatbelt. He was transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment of minor injury. Swift was wearing his seatbelt and had no injuries. Morse was charged with driving vehicle at safe speed.

Sugar Grove

Probation Violation. Warren County Adult Probation & Parole report that on Dec. 12, Theodore McKendree, Sugar Grove, was arrested on charges of violation of probation. McKendree was arrested on a supervisor's warrant, and committed to Warren County Jail pending further court action. McKendree was originally placed on probation on a charge of indecent assault.

Tidioute Boro.

Harassment. Warren-based state police reportinvestigating an incident of harassment which occurred at 7 p.m. on Dec. 13, at the Tidioute Hotel. According to police, Robert Kaczynski, 42, Tidioute, and Erik Loeback, 41, Tidioute, got into a verbal altercation which escalated to the point that Kaczynski drug Loeback out of the establishment. Loeback suffered minor injury from the altercation. Charges of harassment against Kaczynski are pending.
