Helen M. App Wareham, 91, formerly of 17 Yohe Rd., went to be with Jesus and her beloved husband Paul on December 14, 2012.
Born June 19, 1921, in Eldred, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Cecil (Stives) App.
On June 18, 1937 in Olean, she married Paul L. Wareham, who preceded her in death on April 23, 2011.

Helen and Paul lived in the Eldred area until the early 1980's when they moved to Willow Creek. She enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting, working searchaword puzzles, traveling, music and shopping. Her favorite times were spent at family get togethers and she delighted in cooking for them.
Mrs. Wareham attended Eldred Schools. She was a former member of the Bolivar Drive Baptist Church and was very active on the hospitality committee. She later attended the Sawyer Evangelical Church when she was able. She was a member of the Greater Bradford Senior Activity Center.
She spent the last three years of her life at the Bradford Ecumenical Home's "Our House" where she was loved and cherished. She looked forward each week to having her hair done.
Surviving is a daughter, Nancy (Ron) Reynolds, of Bradford, and a son, Gary (Carol) Wareham, of Warren, four grandchildren, thirteen greatgrandchil dren, four greatgreat grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather William Howell, husband, three brothers, one sister, one half sister and one half brother.
Family will be receiving friends on Sunday, December 16, 2012, from 2 to 4 pm in the HollenbeckCahill Funeral Homes, Inc., East Main St., and again on Monday from 10 a.m. to 11 am, at which time funeral and committal services will be held with Rev. Brad Preston, pastor of the Sawyer Evangelical Church, officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery, in Pearl, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bradford Ecumenical Home, 100 St. Francis Drive, the Greater Bradford Senior Activity Center, 60 Campus Drive, Sawyer Evangelical Church, 777 South Kendall Ave., or the charity of the donor's choice.
