PennDOT asking for your opinion

December 14, 2012
By BEN KLEIN (bklein@timesobserver.com) , The Times Observer

Licensed drivers in Warren County, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 1 wants your input.

PennDOT has launched its 2012 online customer survey to to improve its goals and performance and can be found online at www.getstrategy.com and will be available until Jan. 10.

This is the second year that PennDOT District 1 has done the survey to ask motorists to rate what is important in areas such as road smoothness, traffic flow, construction, safety and communications. The survey also asks motorists to judge PennDOT's performance in each of the various areas, Jim Carroll, PennDOT district press officer said.

"We again want to thank motorists who participated in the 2011 survey. They provided us with very valuable information that we used to try to improve the service we provide," District Executive William Petit said. "Now we again want to examine our operations through the eyes of our customers. The views of our customers are very important to us. We are asking motorists to participate and help District 1 continue to improve its performance."

The survey is part of the PennDOT District 1 Performance Management Initiative, "an ongoing internal examination designed to study how the district does its work and how it can continue to improve," Carroll said.

"We look to this customer survey to help provide the data that will enable us to measure improvements in our operations moving forward," Petit said.
