Jaimie Eaton scored 19 of her game-high 25 points in the first half and Warren cruised to 3-0 with a 69-37 thumping of Oil City Tuesday at Warren Area High School.
After being relatively untested during the season-opening Warren County Tip-off Classic last Friday and Saturday, the Dragons made quick work of the Lady Oilers playing a flawless first half and building a commanding 45-13 lead at the break.
"We played our game and did the things that we do best in the first half and I think that's why the first half looked as good as it did," said Warren girls coach Lisa Ruhlman. "We came out in the second half, looking to work on some things and I think what we found is that we still have work to do in those areas."

MEADVILLE - Had it not been for struggling with the full-court press in the first quarter, Tuesday's game with Meadville Calvary Baptist may have been the first win of the season for the Warren County Christian School.
Instead, the Lady Lions fell behind 22-6 after the opening quarter and played catch-up the rest of the way during a 43-39 road loss to the Thunder.
"The girls played a strong game. We just struggled with the press in the first quarter and got behind," said WCCS girls coach Tom Jones. "The rest of the game was outstanding. We got a great performance from Allyssa Kerr and Dymphee Zortman and Jess Lauffenburger also were outstanding."
Kerr finished a monster game with 22 of the team's 39 points. Sister Desirae Kerr added six points, Zortman scored five and Lauffenburger and Kyra Keeler added three points apiece.
The girls team is off until after the New Year. The WCCS girls (0-2) will travel to Christian Life Academy on January 4.
