receives donations
Donations were made in November to the Warren County Humane Society in honor of Bill and Ramona Barry, Bill Hill III, Colby Widdowson, Dr. Adam and Dr. Blayne, Gabby and Izzie Clugh, Karen Weldon.
Donations were also received in memory of Anthony "Tony" Pellegrino, Audrey Papalia, Denna Gern, Edna Widdowson, Hannah Nordin, Helen Crisman, James Scalise, Margie Kostkas, Mark Still, Matthew Seymour, Palmer Davis, Phyllis Roberts, Raya Still Nelson, Robert Kerner, Robert Uber, Russell Freeman, Susanne Lobdell, Tom Donato, Virgil Green and Warren Rohlin.
Flu widespread
across state
HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - State health officials say they've seen a significant increase in the flu across Pennsylvania recently.
Officials said Tuesday that the number of cases reported to the Health Department more than doubled in the past week.
Flu activity is now considered widespread in Pennsylvania. That means at least half the state is experiencing outbreaks of influenza or increases in flu-like illnesses.
The flu appeared earlier than usual this year.
