Carol Jean Turner, 64, a resident at Tidioute Towers, Tidioute, died Monday evening, December 10, 2012 at the Warren General Hospital after an extended illness. She was born June 2, 1948 in West Hickory, PA, a daughter of the late Jay B. and Edith Emert Leonard and had lived in Tidioute most of her life. She had attended West Hickory School and Tidioute School. She loved to play bingo, work with crafts, and loved to eat bacon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Turner, February 16, 1999 and a sister, Bonnie Salsgiver, May 15, 2010.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Rod ( Brenda ) Anderson, Warren, PA, Mrs. Jim ( Laurie ) Cochran, Irvine, PA, a son, David Turner, Tidioute, PA, a sister, Violet Birchard, Warren, PA, two brothers, Jay Leonard, Tidioute, PA, Rick Leonard, Warren, PA, Five Grandchildren and three GreatGrandchildren and her pet SnowBirdie.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a time to be announced by the James M. Higgins Funeral Home, Tidioute, PA.
