Volunteer firefighters responded to a call Monday afternoon about a structure fire just off of Route 6 in the Clarendon area.

The call came in around 12:15 p.m. and crews from Clarendon and Sheffield VFDs arrived on the scene on Rocky Hill Lane soon after. When firefighters arrived, the structure was already engulfed by flames and structural integrity had been lost, which resulted in the collapse of several support beams.

Firefighters from Glade and Pleasant Volunteer Fire Departments also responded to the call and assisted on the scene of the fully-involved structural fire.
