Kevin A. Lindquist, 48, of Wetmore Road, Kane, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Kane Community Hospital.
Born January 19, 1964, in Kane, he was a son of Ann Benson Lindquist and the late George Lindquist.
Kevin was a mechanic and was employed by Jones Chevrolet for many years. He also worked for Kuhn's Saw Shop and most recently, he worked for Tom Rich.
He belonged to the B.P.O. Elks # 329 for many years and previously served as Exalted Ruler.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, Ann (Dave Carlson) of Kane, are three children, Meghan Lindquist, Kevin Lindquist Jr. and Justin Lindquist, all of Kane; three brothers, Karl (Darlene) Lindquist, Keith (Jackie) Lindquist and Greg (Bonnie Avenali) Lindquist, all of Kane; a sister, Nadine (John) Holt of Kane; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Burritt.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 24 p.m. and 79 p.m. at the Cummings Funeral Home, Inc., where an Elks service will be held at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Pflieger, Lutheran Home Chaplain, officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
