Warren Players recently announced the cast of "It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play." Performances will be Thursday through Saturday, Dec. 13-15, at 7 p.m. The play will be presented at the historic Struthers Library Theatre, where the audience will also be seated for the performance.
Take a step back in time ... to Christmas Eve, 1946, during the golden age of radio, at the WBFR Studio in New York City. The audience members seated close by become the live studio audience for a radio broadcast of this American holiday favorite. True to Frank Capra's cinematic classic, follow along with the story of American dreamer, George Bailey, as he learns that no man is a failure who has friends - with a little angelic intervention. "It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play" puts a new twist on classic reader's theatre as the talented cast of six performs the dozens of characters in the play with the help of two Foley artists creating a myriad of sound effects.
