Warren County Christian School's girls basketball team fell in its season opener, 37-31, to Christian Life Academy on Tuesday.

The Lady Lions, who have just seven players on their roster, trailed by eight heading into the fourth quarter, where they scored the first six points to close within two.

Sophomore Allyssa Kerr led the way for WCCS (0-1), finishing with 14 points, while fellow sophomore Dymphee Zortman added 13 points. Kyra Keeler and Jess Lauffenburger were the only other two Lions to get on the scoreboard.
