BOYS HOOPS: WCCS Lions start with home loss

December 5, 2012
The Times Observer

Warren County Christian School's boys basketball team got off to a tough start on Tuesday, in a 57-17 New Penn Christian Conference loss to visiting Christian Life Academy.

"They were a very talented team," said WCCS first-year coach Tom Jones. "They were big, strong and much older than us, but you have a barometer to measure yourself from."

Coach Jones said he's convinced WCCS will improve, but it doesn't get easier to start the season as the Lions host another solid team in Meadville Calvary Baptist on Tuesday.
