Craft show Saturday
The Fifth Annual Bollinger Craft & Vendor Show, featuring a silent auction and hot food will be held at 44 N. State St., North Warren, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Polka Boosters to
dance Sunday
The Slovenian Polka Boosters will have its Christmas party from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, at the Johnsonburg Fire Hall. Frank Moravcik of Cleveland, Ohio, will provide music for all types of dancing. The public is invited. For information, call Paul Leofsky at 563-7516.
AOC on the move
On Friday, Dec. 7, the Allegheny Outdoor Club (AOC) will hike or ski the trails at The Summit area on Allegany State Park in Cattaraugus County, N.Y. Participants will meet at the warming hut at The Summit at 10 a.m. and should take a lunch with them. For more information, call Pat Spicer at 757-8331, 9 to 11 p.m.
On Sunday, Dec. 9, the AOC will hike or ski at Akeley Swamp. Participants will meet at the State Game Lands parking lot on Old. Rt. 62 in Akeley at 1 p.m. For more information, call Debra Young at 730-8388.
Book sale continues
at Warren Public Library
The Book Cellar at Warren Public Library, Market St., Warren, will continue its half-price holiday book sale through the end of December. A door prize also will be awarded this month. Hours for the Book Cellar are 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Auxiliary to meet
The Ladies Auxiliary to Marshall Larsen VFW Post 314, Clarendon, will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at the post home, Brown Ave., Clarendon. District president Shirley June Shirey will make her official visit at this time. Members are asked to take snacks, appetizers and finger foods.
To dance Saturday
The Circle Eight Square Dance Club of Warren will dance from 8:15 to 10:30 p.m Saturday, Dec. 8, in the auditorium at Warren State Hospital. Don Yosten will call squares.
