Conewango Twp.

Theft. Conewango Twp. police report investigating a theft which occurred sometime in mid-Nov. According to police, Jim Wolford stole a Powerland 4000-watt generator from Tim Anderson. Wolford then sold the generator to Joe Marotta of Warren for $160 while telling Marotta the generator was his to sell. Conewango Twp. Police charged Wolford with theft by unlawful taking and theft by deception for the violations committed.

DUI. Warren-based state police report that on Dec. 1, at 9:48 p.m., Nathan Paul Engstrom, Warren, was stopped for speeding on SR 62 at the boundary between Conewango Township and the City of Warren and found to be under the influence of alcohol. A breath test showed his BAC to be well above the legal limit. Charges of DUI: general impairment, DUI: highest rate of alcohol, driving under DUI related suspension and other summary traffic offenses were filed against Engstrom at District Justice Laura Bauer's office.

Eldred Twp.

Burglary. Warren-based state police report investigating a burglary which occurred between Nov. 9 and Nov. 30 on the Wesley Woods grounds. According to police, someone accessed the grounds by removing a glass window. Once inside, 12/2 electrical wire and other misc. electrical items were stolen. Total stolen property and damage is yet to be determined. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP Warren at 728-3600 or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Glade Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police report investigating a theft which occured on Nov. 27. According to police, someone stole two rings from the residence of Jennifer Babic. The total value of the jewelry is estimated at $1050. Investigation continues.

Pittsfield Twp.

Burglary. Warren-based state police report investigating a burglary whihc occurred between Apr. 1 and Nov. 26, on Morrison Hill Rd. According to police unknown actor(s) gained forceful entry into a camp and destroyed the inside. Nothing was reported missing, however the camp was used multiple times. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP Warren or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Pleasant Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one vehicle accident on Pleasant Drive, 2.4 miles north of Lenhart Rd., on Nov. 28 at 1:45 p.m. According to police, a 2003 Ford Ranger driven by Wayne Broman, 66, Elyria, OH, was traveling south on Pleasant Dr., uphill out of a sharp right curve when the vehicle crossed the right shoulder fog line and dropped into the ditch. Broman counter-steered, bringing the vehicle out of the ditch but over compensated, causing the vehicle to yaw clockwise. The vehicle re-entered the right shoulder ditch and rolled onto the driver's side. Broman reported no injuries as a result of the crash, but was transported to Warren General Hospital by EmergyCare for further evaluation. The vehicle received heavy driver side damage and was towed from the scene by Koebley Towing. A charge of roadways laned for traffic has been filed with District Justice Glenn Carlson's office.

Sugar Grove

Lost. Warren-based state police report that on Nov. 21, at 6 p.m., Audrey Card, 52, Jamestown, lost a small silver, half-moon shaped, wristlet-styled wallet with decorative grey studs in the Kwik Fill parking lot. Any one with information is asked to contact PSP Warren or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one vehicle accident on Jackson Run Rd. on Dec. 2 at approximately 3:20 p.m. According to police, a 2002 Lincoln LS was negotiating a sharp left hand curve when the driver lost control of the vehicle on the wet roadway. The vehicle began to yaw counter-clockwise prior to crossing both lanes of traffic and striking the left shoulder embankment. The driver, who was not named in the police report, reported the crash and then fled the scene prior to police arriving. The vehicle received functional damage to the front driver side tire and was towed from the scene by Bob's Garage as it was blocking northbound traffic. Charges were filed against the driver for numerous violations, including driving vehicle at safe speed, through District Justice Laura Bauer's office.

Crash. Warren-based state police report on Nov. 29, at 1:40 p.m., Amber Morelli, 32, Jamestown, was traveling east on SR 27 when a deer jumped out in front of her vehicle. Morelli struck the deer with the front end of her vehicle, launching it into the west bound lane and the path of Timothy Dyer, 46, Pittsfield. The deer rolled over the hood and through the windshield of Dyer's vehicle, which then travelled across the center line, left the eastern berm and came to rest in a creek. Dyer was transported to Hamot Medical Center for treatment of head injuries. Morelli was uninjured in the accident. Both vehicles suffered major damage and were towed from the scene. Sugar Grove VFD assisted on scene.

Burglary. Warren-based state police report investigating a burglary which occurred between Oct. 11 and Nov. 22, near SR 957, in Sugar Grove Twp. According to police, Krystle A. Ransom, 23, Sugar Grove, entered a garage belonging to Randy Ransom, 52, Sugar Grove, and stole three firearms. On Dec. 3, charges of theft were filed through District Judge Laura Bauers' office. Further court action is pending.

Tidioute

Charged. Tidioute Borough Police report that after an investigation of two different incidents that occurred on the morning of Nov. 25, at approximately 2:14 a.m., in front of 128 Main St., police have charged David Hall, 51, Madison, OH, with harassment and criminal mischief and Christopher Fulkman, 32, New Castle, with harassment and criminal mischief for engaging in a physical altercation, during which the back window of a vehicle owned by Henry and Marsha Brown was broken. Police are also charging Shane M. Cocchi, 26, New Berry, OH, with criminal mischief for a window that was broken at 118 Main St.
