The Youngsville High School National Honor Society, under the direction of Angela Renninger, sponsored a food drive for non-perishable items to help feed families in the Youngsville community. Students in grades nine through 12 and teachers at the high school brought in beverages, baking supplies, canned goods, vegetables and various Thanksgiving items to make this holiday a bit more festive for individuals and families. Items were distributed to food pantry at the Methodist Church on Second Street in Youngsville and for Love, Inc., also in Youngsville. In addition, two National Honor Society students, Angela Renninger and Katelyn Maille, volunteered to deliver the boxes of holiday food after school on Tuesday, Nov. 20.
