KATHLEEN BUSER

Kathleen Doris Driscoll Buser, 91, of North Franklin St., Titusville, died peacefully at 4 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at Golden Living Center of Oil City.

She was born February 15, 1921 in Oil City, a daughter of the late Lawrence T. Driscoll and Mabel Chryste Driscoll. Doris graduated from Oil City High School in 1938.

Doris married Thomas T. Buser, Sr. November 7, 1942 in Oil City. Mr. Buser died September 17, 1999.

She was formerly employed for many years as a switchboard operator with Universal Cyclops Specialty Steel Corporation in Titusville.

Mr. and Mrs. Buser moved to Warren in 1978 and made their home there for many years.

She was a former member of St. Titus Church in Titusville and Holy Redeemer Church in Warren.

Doris enjoyed sewing, baking, crocheting, and scrapbooking.

Survivors include a daughter Melanie Kibbey and her husband Norm of Grand Valley; a son Thomas T. Buser, Jr. and his wife Evelyn of Tidioute; five grandsons, James P. (Deborah) Beck of Virginia, David T. (Lisa) Beck of Florida, Kevin T. (Karen) Beck of Kentucky, David A. (Amy) Buser of Pennsylvania and Matthew C. Buser and his companion Lee Bilodeau of California; nine greatgrandchildren, Kathleen E. Beck, Nathaniel W. Warner, Noah, Nolan, and Nash Beck, Tyler and Lauren Beck, and Ben and Madi Buser; two sisters, Patricia (Joseph) Martone and Geraldine (Norman) Rieger, all of Erie; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Eleanor Mars and Therese Fisher, and two brothers, William Driscoll and Paul Driscoll.

At Doris' request, no public calling hours will be observed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Monday, November 26, at Holy Redeemer Church, 11 Russell St., Warren, with Father James G. Gutting, pastor, as celebrant. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Warren.

The family suggests that memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice.
