Ray VanOrd of Clarendon and Sherri Fitzgerald of Sugar Grove have announced the engagement of their daughter, Cassandra VanOrd, to Kyle Rakiecki. He is the son of Marty Ann and Charles Rakiecki of Scandia.
The bride-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Warren Area High School and is employed as a CNA at Valley View Nursing Center in Montoursville, Pa. Her fiance is a 2002 graduate of Warren Area High School and a 2006 graduate of Clarion University with a bachelor's degree in environmental geoscience. He is employed with RETTEW Associates in Williamsport, Pa., as a geologist II.
The couple is planning to be married June 8, 2013, at Presque Isle, Erie.
