Eldred Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that they are investigating a theft of fittings, valves and motors for a sap tank belonging to Firth Maple Products. The equipment was stolen from Eureka Road between Eldred Center Road and Sanford Road between April 1 and November 20. There was also damage to a sending unit that occurred sometime between the above dates. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Pittsfield Twp.
DUI. Warren-based state police reported that on November 19 at 2:05 p.m. on Punky Hollor Road, Jared L. Hultber, 23, Jamestown, NY, was stopped by the Game Commission. Upon approaching the vehicle, it was suspected that the driver may be under the influence of alcohol and the police were contacted for further assistance. The accused was transported to Warren General Hospital for chemical testing. Blood results determined that his blood alcohol content was above the legal limit. Charges against Hultber include two counts of DUI and restrictions on alcoholic beverages. Charges will be filed through the Youngsville office of District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth.
Watson Twp.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that someone removed a motor from a pump jack on Hearts Content Road belonging to Oz Gas, LTD, Mentor, OH, sometime between November 13 and November 20. The value of the motor is approximately $1,300. Any person with information is asked to contact the state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
