Rules meeting

A mandatory rules interpretation meeting for parents of Sheffield varsity and junior varsity girls basketball players will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Sheffield Area High School.

In case no one noticed — because Warren was playing in a District 10 playoff football game on Friday against the top-ranked Class AAA team in the state, PIAA winter practices (basketball, swimming and wrestling) officially began yesterday. Riverside Raceway will host the Hooter Chassis Outlaw Tour radio control racing series at 11 a.m. Saturday. Drivers from Pennsylvania, New York and Ohio will be attending and participating in a special series of radio control car races in six classes unique to the Outlaw Tour. In addition, Riverside will run races in the Slash, Nostalgia Spec and Late Model Brushless classes.
