Warren-Forest Pomona Grange met recently with master Kelly Van Ord presiding. Chaplain Deanna Hollabaugh read from the Upper Room on prayer.

Matthew Irons, youth chairman, said he and his wife, Miranda, will travel to Boise, ID, this week representing Pennsylvania as young couple. Miranda will also be one of nine youths from Pennsylvania participating in the re enactment of the degrees of the grange as originally done in July 2012 at the Kelley Farm in Minnesota.

Family activity chairman, Jean Hollabaugh reported on the winners from Pomona at State Grange in October: Jolene McWilliams (Forest Grange), third for a full afghan; Matt Irons (Watson Grange), third for painted fishing lure and first for Lego creation; Miranda Irons (Watson), third for scenery photo; and Jean Hollabaugh (Watson) second for truffles and second for start with a cake mix.

Reports of the State Grange session were given by delegates Miranda Irons and Kelly Van Ord.

Other reports received were from the auctions, which will continue for 2013, building and rental, snack bar and fair concessions. Donations were approved to the American Cancer Society, MS, Toys for Tots, Hospice and Pittsfield Township supervisors.

Theme for the Grange exhibits at the 2013 Warren County Fair will be "Volunteer. It's Good for You."

Upcoming events: Harvest Dinner at Forest Grange Nov. 15 at 6 p.m.; Auction at Pomona Grange Nov. 17 at 1 p.m.; Harvest Dinner at Watson Grange Nov. 24 at 5 p.m.; Auctions at Pomona Grange Dec. 1, 8 and 15 at 1 p.m. Pomona will meet again May 11, 2013, with Watson Grange members providing lunch.
