Clare "Tootie" Jefferson Ciroli, 96, passed away quietly in Sarah Reed Retirement Center, Erie, Pa., at 11:53 a.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2012. Tootie was born January 31, 1916, one of ten children to the late Leota and Thomas Jefferson of Sheffield, Pa.
She was a good friend to everyone she met and enjoyed her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Ciroli of Cleveland, Ohio.
Tootie is survived by her husband of 76 years, Edward "Skip" Ciroli; a daughter Marlene McLaren and husband Jim , Naples, Fla; two granddaughters Lee Burch and husband Timothy and Lyn Kress and husband James; five greatgrandchildren, Trevor, Brenda, and Dusty Burch, and Jillean and Braden Kress; and extended family members Heather, Jennifer, and Breaton Wilson and Tiffany Ragan.
Friends may call on Friday, November 16, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. at the BordenLloyd Funeral Home, 203 W. Main St., Sheffield, Pa. The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. following visitation. Burial will follow in Sheffield Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials be made to a charity of choice.
