Police seek two suspects in Tidioute burglaries

Warren-based state police and Tidioute Borough Police have released security camera photos of two individuals suspected of a string of burglaries in the Tidioute area.

Police reported on Monday that the suspects broke in The Pub on Oct. 27, stealing approximately $600 in cash and causing damage to the front door. On the same night, the suspects entered the Ultimate Wash and Wag and damaged multiple machines.

On Nov. 4, two suspects broke into Miller's News Stand and took $100 in cash while damaging the front door. The same night, two suspects entered King's Lumber and stole $2,000 in cash and $6,600 in checks as well as causing damage to the facility. Also on Nov. 4, the suspects damaged additional machines at the Ultimate Wash and Wag with an estimated damage there at between $10,000 and $12,000.

In total, the two individuals have stolen approximately $2,700 in cash, $6,600 in checks and caused more than $12,000 in damage, according to police.

The suspects wore hooded sweatshirts, jeans and masks covering their faces. One is approximately 5' 9" tall while the other stands approximately 5' 7".

Police said that they are offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to contact Warren-based state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
