Conewango Twp.

Criminal Mischief and Trespass. Conewango Twp. Police reported that sometime in the past two weeks, someone went onto the property of John Guthrie and damaged two sections of a tree stand ladder, and stole another section. Anyone with information, please contact the Conewango Twp. Police Dept.

Mead Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police reported that at 12:45 p.m. on Nov. 10, a crash occurred on US-6 at its intersection with Kinzua Rd. Donald L. Fileger, age 65, Clarendon, was traveling east on SR 6 in a 2004 Dodge Durango, approaching the entersection with Kinzua Rd. and SR 59. A second driver, Christina L. Studley, age 32, Sheffield, in a 2007 Dodge Caliber proceeded to slow for a changing traffic light in the east lane of SR 6. Fileger continued to travel east toward the traffic light and as he approached Studley's car, he applied the brakes in order to avoid a collision, but there was not enough of a reactionary gap. He then collided with the rear end of Studley's car, causing disabling damage to her car, and minor damage to his car. Neither driver was injured. Studley's car was towed from the scene. Fileger's car was able to be driven away from the scene. Fileger was cited for Following Too Closely.

Wayne Twp., Erie County

Crash. Corry-based state police reported that at 8:50 p.m. on Nov. 9, a crash occured, when Christine L. York-Hoskin, age 58, Warren, was operating a 2005 PT Cruiser east on Rte. 6, when the vehicle drifted off of the road, descended an embankment, then struck a tree head on. The driver and a male juvenile passenger were transported to Corry Memorial Hospital for treatment. Both were wearing seatbelts and the airbags deployed. A traffic citation will be filed against the driver for failing to drive her vehicle within a single lane of traffic.
