Mrs. Ardeth O. Lauffenburger, 71, passed into the next life Friday, November 9, 2012, following an extended illness. She was born April 16, 1941, in Warren, to the late Wallace and Florence Fox Outrid.
A 1959 graduate of Warren High School, she had been employed by the Warren Times and the Ruth Smith Center. As a lifelong area resident, Ardeth enjoyed drawing, painting, and crafts, creating numer ous plush pets and dolls.
Surviving is her husband of 53 years, Albert Lauffenburger, of Sheffield, whom she married June 27, 1959, in Russell; two daughters, Laura Mohney, of Sheffield, and Sue Sari and husband Dennis, of Ridgway; three sons, Gary Lauffenburger and wife Anna, of Sheffield, Wallace Lauffenburger and wife Peg, of Sheffield, and Christopher Lauffenburger and wife Kristin, of Newburgh, Ind., four grand children; four greatgrand children; a sister, Barbara Knisley, of VA; and several nieces and nephews.
