Pennsylvania Avenue in Warren will be closed between Liberty and Market streets from about 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday. According to Mike Holtz, Department of Public Works director, areas of pavement that were torn up for utility work will be paved. "We're going to go in and pave the rest of the gas company's trenches tomorrow," Holtz said. "The remaining trenches that have not been overlaid in that area will be overlaid." Huber Blacktop was contracted for the work.
