Dear Times Observer,
Mitch Wilston's article Reporting from Gate A last Saturday was terrific. He is such a gifted writer and put the happy back into "Happy Valley" for me. Every parent of a college student must have had a chuckle. All of the articles he has contributed to the Times Observer have been reliably factual and interesting. Any time I saw his byline, I knew his readers could rely upon what he wrote to be accurate and that we would be entertained at the same time. That is a supreme achievement. He has a brilliant future. We can all say, "We knew him when."
