Soup and Sweets
A benefit for Valley Days, a "Soups and Sweets Night," will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at Grand Valley Fire Hall. Donations will be accepted at the door. Proceeds will benefit the community's annual festival.
At Grand Valley
Grand Valley Volunteer Fire Department will begin bingo again at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. A Christmas auction is planned for 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17. The kitchen will be open. Auctioneers will be Vinnie Hotchiss and Don McKuhn. A Christmas party for firemen and their families will be held at 5 p.m on Dec. 2. This will be open to past and present members and auxiliary members. A special guest, Santa, will stop by after supper.
Triple Bloom
Warren Garden Club will present "Triple Bloom" at Warren Holiday Inn Thursday, Nov. 8, beginning at 9 a.m. with coffee and pastries. The morning program will be several mini presentations for home and garden. After lunch, On Thai, from Schnectady, N.Y., will inspire with his unique floral design style.
Men to breakfast
A men's breakfast will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at North Warren Presbyterian Church. The breakfast is open to all men of the community, regardless of faith. Cost is a donation of $3 for breakfast cooked by men from our community. All men are welcome.
To hike Sunday
On Sunday, Nov. 11, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike the Tanbark Trail from Sandstone Springs to Rt.62 then return via the Slater Run Trail. Participants will meet at Musante Street in Warren at 1 p.m. For more information, call Greg Burkett at 723-4989.

MS support offered
Warren Multiple Sclerosis Support group will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, in the Slater Room (third floor) of the Warren Public Library. The gathering will include open discussion, and details of the Christmas party will be announced. Light refreshments will be available, but everyone is asked to bring their own beverage. Anyone affected by MS, their family, friends and anyone interested in learning more about Multiple Sclerosis is invited to attend. There in no charge for anyone to attend. The library is handicapped accessible from the rear of the building by parking in the midtown lot. There is an elevator to the third floor. Parking passes are available at the meeting for the midtown so there is not a fee for parking.
