Keep cool during holidays

Feeling stressed over the holidays? Learn tips on "keeping cool" with Erie comedian Meg Maley. The presentation will be at the Allegheny Community Center, 42 Clark St., Warren, at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7.

College women to meet

The Association of College Women will meet for dinner at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at the Conewango Club, Market St., Warren. John Ferry will speak on "The Civil War in Warren County."

Warren High School Class of 1941 will have lunch at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at McCulla's Pub, Pennsylvania Ave. E., Warren. For reservations call Autumn Doherty at 723-7426.

Warren High School Class of 1950 will have breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at Bob Evans in North Warren.

Class to lunch

Warren High School Class of 1959 will get together for lunch on Tuesday, Nov. 6, in the back room at Perkins at 12:30 p.m. All classmates are encouraged to attend; bring spouses, friends, guests, or just show up. Also, remember that it's time to vote ... maybe on your way to lunch?

Blood drive Tuesday

Russell United Methodist Church in Russell will hold a life-saving blood drive from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov 6. Stop by and donate with the staff from Community Blood Bank. Local patients are in need of blood.

Bake sale Tuesday

An Election Day Bake Sale will be sponsored by United Methodist Women of Clarendon United Methodist Church beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday at Clarendon Fire Hall.

In recognition of Veteran's Day, The Pennsylvania CareerLink invites local veterans to attend a Veteran's Appreciation being held at the Warren CareerLink office, 2 Market St., on Friday, Nov. 9, from 9 to 11 a.m. "The Pennsylvania CareerLink offices invite veterans to stop in for refreshments so we can thank them for providing the freedom we enjoy," says Pam Watkins, site administrator.
