Warren

Crash. Warren-based state police report a crash that occurred Nov. 2 at 8:46 a.m. near the intersection of PA Ave. East and Rollins St. Police report Westley Bennett, 22 of Randolph, NY was traveling east on PA Ave. when he failed to stop for the vehicle driven by David Donachy, 52 of Russell, which was stopped and waiting to turn on to Rollins. Both vehicles received minor damage and were driven from the scene. Bennett was charged with PAVC 3361 Safe Speeds.

Public drunkenness. Police report Todd Martin, 38, of Warren was cited with public drunkenness following a call that a man was passed out in a truck in the parking lot of the Draft House on Oct. 26.

Theft. Police report Lee Jordan Sr., 39, of Warren, was charged with theft by unlawful taking, forgery, and burglary after he allegedly stole several checks from the victim and cashed them using his own name. The theft totaled $2,600. Jordan was arraigned in front of the District Justice Carlson and remanded to the WCJ with $25,000 bail.

Harassment. Police report Dean Grosshan, 48, of Warren, was cited with harassment strike, shove, kick after it was reported he struck the victim following a dispute over a television being too loud.

Sheffield

Parole violation. Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Timothy Bean, 20, of Sheffield, on Oct. 31, on charges of violation of parole. Bean, who was originally placed on parole on a charge of statutory sexual assault, was arrested on a Supervisor's Warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.

Conewango Twp.

Hit and Run. Conewango Twp. Police are investigating a hit and run property damage accident. An unknown vehicle traveling south on Weiler Rd. went off the west side of the road, striking a mailbox and causing damage to the yards of residents. The vehicle is believed to be a full size vehicle and has passenger side damage. Anyone with information is asked to call Township Police at 814-726-0725.
