MOAA Annual Planning Meeting
The Bucktail Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) will hold its annual planning meeting at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the WWII Museum, Main Street, Eldred. This will be a pot luck lunch meeting, so everyone is reminded to bring a dish to share. This meeting is open to all ROTC members from local colleges as well as all members of all branches of the military services, active, retired and former members. Turkey party
A turkey party will be held Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Marine Corps League building, 2355 Jackson Ave., Warren. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
Show canceled
The Arts and Education morning school show and the 7 p.m. public performance of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" has been canceled due to the weather. The Will Power Tour comes from the Allentown area, and their area is already shut down due to high winds, rain, and downed trees. It was a precautionary decision to cancel as the path of the storm was moving in a northwesterly direction. Those who had already purchased tickets for the 7 p.m. show can return them to the theater office for a full refund.
Art League to meet
Warren Art League will meet Thursday, Nov. 1, at First Lutheran Church, 109 W. Third Ave., Warren. Wilma Fleming will present a program on creating with colored pencils, including a hands-on project. Participants should take colored pencils if they have them. The group will take nominations for officers for 2013.

Warren High School Class of 1951 will have a men's breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Perkins in Warren.
