officers meeting
The Warren County Fire Services officers will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1 at the Garland Fire Hall.
The regular dinner meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8 at Glade Fire Hall.
Tea Party to meet
Warren County Tea Party will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, at Republican headquarters on Conewango Ave. This is a change in location.
Salvation Army
taking applications
The Salvation Army is accepting applications for its Treasure for Children and Christmas Food Baskets programs.
The programs are for Warren County residents only.
Applications will be accepted until Dec. 7 by appointment only.

Blood drive set
Russell United Methodist Church, 17 N. Main St., Russell, will host a community blood drive from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov 6.
Area hospitals require more than 800 donations a day for traumas, surgeries, premature babies and more. Every donation can help save as many as three lives.
Community Blood Bank is the only supplier of blood to local hospitals.
