Judge accepts pleas from 28 defendants

Twenty-eight defendants appeared before District Judge Maureen Skerda in Warren County Court for arraignment/change of plea proceedings last Thursday.

Entering guilty pleas were:

Timothy Scott Antill, 18737 Petroleum Center Rd., Titusville, to a charge of theft by unlawful taking. Ten additional charges of criminal conspiracy (theft by unlawful taking) and ten additional charges of defiant trespass will not be prosecuted pending agreement to pay $8,300 in restitution as part of any sentence given.

Ronald Myron Chamberlain, 136 Scott Run Rd., to charges of DUI: Highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16+) and driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked. Additional charges of DUI: General impairment-incapable of safe driving with accident, registration/certification of title, driver required to be licensed, classes of licenses, carrying and exhibiting driver's license on demand, notice of change of name/address, required financial responsibility, careless driving and two charges of protective equipment for motorcycle riders were not prosecuted.

Roberto DeJesus, 7 N. Carver St., to charges of DUI: General impairment-incapable of safe driving-refusal to submit to breath or blood chemical testing and careless driving. Additional charges of DUI: General impairment-incapable of safe driving and restriction on alcoholic beverages were not prosecuted.

Marc Alan Lewis, 1618 Pennsylvania Ave. E., to a charge of simple assault. An additional charge of aggravated assault (serious injury to a police officer) was not prosecuted.

Adam Lee Smith, 101 Sherman Hill Rd., Bear Lake, to a charge of simple assault. Additional charges of aggravated assault (extreme indifference) and harassment were not prosecuted.

Angela Smith, Warren County Jail, to charges of simple assault and public drunkenness.

Harry S. Snyder, 108 Water St., Apt. 1, to a charge of terroristic threats. An additional charge of disorderly conduct was not prosecuted.

James R. Sullivan, 140 Dey Lane, Garland, to a charge of retail theft.

Jennifer D. Wilson, State Correctional Institution-Muncy, Ind., to a charge of theft by deception. Additional charges of identity theft, theft by unlawful taking or disposition, bad checks and two charges of forgery were not prosecuted.

Demond S. Jordan, Erie, to charges of criminal conspiracy (retail theft) and retail theft.

Thomas Christenson, Warren County Jail, to a charge of terroristic threats.

Mark Rodgers, 17 West Third Ave., to a charge of theft from a motor vehicle.

Kyle John Yeager, 36490 Route 66, Crown, to two felony charges stemming from the sexual assault of a child. Additional charges of rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors and indecent assault were not prosecuted.

Entering pleas of not guilty were:

Stephanie Ann Appling, 444 Conewango Ave., Apt. E, to charges of DUI: Highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16+), DUI: General impairment-incapable of safe driving with accident, Accident with damage to attended vehicle or property, stop signs and yield signs.

Roger S. Dalo, 4115 Market St., Apt. 36, to two charges of criminal mischief and a charge of stalking.

Jon David Gage, 2029 Jackson Run Rd., to two charges of failure to comply with registration of sexual offenders.

Richard Allen Goodman, 101 East Main St., Apt. 4, Youngsville, to four charges each of rape of a child and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse stemming from incidents with a 19 year old mentally disabled man.

Robert Sky Leonard, 5926 Route 66, Kane, to charges of DUI: Controlled substance-schedule I, DUI: Controlled substance-schedule II or III, DUI: Controlled substance-schedule I, II, III, DUI: Controlled substance-impaired ability and careless driving.

Tina Lynn Martinelli, 226 Eccles Rd., Sugar Grove, to a charge f theft by unlawful taking.

David Alan Miley, 9216 Jackson Run Rd., Sugar Grove, to charges of statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors, ten charges of unlawful contact or communication with a minor, three charges of corruption of minors, three charges of sell/furnish liquor/malt/brewed beverage to minor and a charge of driving while under suspension.

Eugene L. Muzzy, 5059 Oil Creek Rd., Spartansburg, to a charge of indecent assault.

Lonnie Eugene Pire, 15401 Lyons Rd., Union City, to charges of DUI: General impairment-incapable of safe driving, DUI: Highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16+), driving on roadways laned for traffic and careless driving.

David Howard Rulander, to charges of stalking and harassment.

Janessa Dawn Shepherd, 211 Madison Ave., to a charge of corruption of minors.

Jakob Edward Smith, 30 E. Wayne St., to a charge of corruption of minors.

Tika Diana Smith, 1 Tremont St., to charges of defrauding secured creditors and careless driving.

Andrew L. Stapfer, 307 N. State St., to charges of stalking and harassment/stalking.

David C. Young, 235 Abraham Hollow, Youngsville, to charges of DUI: General impairment-incapable of safe driving, DUI: Highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16+), driving on roadways laned for traffic, careless driving and two charges of turning movements and required signals.

An additional defendant, Francis Conrad Romig, 174 Main St., Tidioute, attempted to enter a plea of guilty to a charge of terroristic threats, but his plea was not accepted by the court due to stated inability to understand the proceedings. Romig also faces charges of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, harassment, recklessly endangering another person and two charges of simple assault.
