Emilie Gifford and Shelle Tubbs were recently honored for five years of service at the CASA of Warren and Forest Counties Annual Board and Volunteer recognition meeting. The two Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) have served 13 local abused and or neglected children.
Emilie Gifford and Shelle Tubbs were given gifts. Their volunteer hours and the difference they have made in children's lives were highlighted.
Along with recognition of volunteers, election of office holders for the CASA Advisory Board were held. Advisory Committee is comprised of community leaders, who oversee program's development and direction.
